AREA SERVICE TECHNICIAN SOUTH AMERICA (m/f/d)
In this role you will be responsible for delivering high-quality after-sales service support to our customers and dealer network within an assigned geographical area. The role plays a critical part in ensuring machine performance and customer satisfaction across the region. You should be a hands-on problem solver with strong technical knowledge of agricultural machinery and a proactive approach to customer service.
Your responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for technical support and service inquiries in the assigned area.
- Support dealers and customers with diagnostics, repairs, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct regular field visits to assist with machinery installation, commissioning, and performance optimization.
- Communicate recurring technical issues and customer feedback to the Regional Service Manager South America
- Support trade shows, field days, and product demonstrations as needed.
Your skills and qualifications:
- Technical degree in Agricultural Machinery, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in service or technical support within the agricultural machinery sector.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Familiarity with modern agricultural practices and precision farming technologies.
- Ability to build strong relationships with dealers, farmers, and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently across assigned regions in Chile and South America if it is necessary
- Proficiency in Spanish (required); English or German is a strong advantage.
- Valid driver’s license.
